Why fake payout screenshots are everywhere

Payout proof is the strongest thing a prop firm can show you, so a screenshot of a large payout travels further than any other piece of trading content. It gets reposted in ads, affiliate threads and Discord servers within minutes, and almost nobody stops to ask where the original came from.

The problem is that a payout screenshot is one of the easiest things on the internet to fake. This page proves it: the certificate above took you about ten seconds and no image editing at all. Treat an unsourced screenshot as marketing, not evidence.

How to check if a payout proof is real

  • Look for a first party source. A payout page published by the firm itself is much stronger than a cropped image posted by an affiliate.
  • Check what is visible around the number. Real proof usually carries a date, a platform and an account identifier. Fakes tend to be cropped down to the number alone.
  • Cross check the payout speed. If a firm claims same day payouts, recent reviews and community posts should describe the same experience, not just the promo page.
  • Read the rules that trigger a denial. Consistency rules, news trading limits and minimum trading days deny far more payouts than any screenshot will ever show you.

If you want the boring version of proof, start with our current prop firm discounts and the full list of futures prop firms, where every firm is listed with its status and founding year.

Frequently asked questions

No. Every certificate created here is fake, the firm names on it are invented, and no money is involved. It is a satire tool built for memes and Discord jokes.
Payout proof is the single strongest selling point a prop firm has, so screenshots of large payouts spread quickly through ads, affiliate posts and Discord servers. They are also trivial to fake, which is why an unsourced screenshot on its own tells you very little.
Look for proof that is hard to fabricate: a payout page published by the firm itself, an image that shows the date and platform rather than only the number, recent reviews describing the same payout speed, and community reports from traders who were paid in the last few weeks.
No. The firm name is picked at random from a list of invented companies, and there is no way to type a real one. Attaching a fake payout to a real business is not a joke we want to host.
Our discounts page lists every current futures prop firm promotion with the code applied, and our full firm list covers 82 firms with their status and founding year.
