A futures prop firm funds traders on CME futures like ES, NQ, CL and GC. You buy an evaluation, hit the profit target without breaking the drawdown and daily loss limits, and move to a funded account where you keep most of the profits. Some firms also sell straight-to-funded accounts with no evaluation.
EOD drawdown only updates at the close, so a trade that runs up and comes back during the session does not move your floor. Intraday trailing follows your peak balance tick by tick, open profit included. Static never moves. Of the 200 evaluations on this page, 156 are EOD, 36 are intraday trailing and 8 are static.
