As part of an ongoing security initiative, Lucid Trading has proactively reset all user passwords. This is a preventative measure following recent security events in the industry and is not the result of a breach. Here is what you need to know and how to regain access to your account.
Why Your Password Was Reset
Recent security incidents across the trading industry have demonstrated that attackers often rely on credentials exposed through breaches at other companies. Rather than compromising firms directly, bad actors use old or recycled passwords to gain unauthorized access.
To protect your account and personal information, Lucid Trading has taken the proactive step of replacing your password with a randomly generated value. This is not the result of a breach or compromise of Lucid Trading's systems. It is purely an additional layer of protection.
How to Regain Access
Your previous password will no longer sign you in. To regain access to your dashboard, please follow these steps:
- Head to the Lucid Trading login page.
- Select Forgot your password?
- Follow the instructions sent to your registered email address.
- When setting your new password, choose one that is unique to Lucid Trading and not used on any other platform.
