What Is Lucid Daily?
Lucid Daily is a simulated evaluation with a one-time fee that, once passed, upgrades you to a Lucid Daily funded account. The funded stage offers daily payout requests, no consistency rule, and a 90/10 profit split in your favor. What makes it stand out is that you customize the account at checkout, so you can shape it around your own risk preferences.
There are two settings you choose when buying, and together they create four unique configurations:
Daily Loss Limit: On or Off
With it on, a fixed daily loss cap applies to both the evaluation and the funded account, and the price is lower. With it off, there is no daily cap in either phase, and the price is higher.
Eval Drawdown: EOD or Intraday
This affects the evaluation only. Intraday tracks your drawdown in real time and is cheaper. End-of-Day calculates from your session close balance and costs more. Every funded account uses Intraday regardless.
Lucid Daily Account Sizes
These core figures stay the same no matter which configuration you pick. The ratios are identical across every size: the profit target is 6% of the account, the max loss limit is 3%, and the daily loss limit (when on) is 1.8%.
Every size uses a 50% consistency requirement in the evaluation, has no account activation fee, and offers daily payouts with no consistency rule once funded.
Lucid Daily Pricing (30% Off With Code FPF)
Here is where the customization shows up. Each size has four price points depending on your two settings, and every price below already includes the 30% off from code FPF. Pick your size to see the four configurations:
The pattern is the same at every size: Intraday + DLL on is the cheapest, EOD + No DLL is the most expensive, and the two middle options land close together. You are essentially paying a premium for more flexibility, whether that is removing the daily cap or getting the more forgiving End-of-Day evaluation drawdown. Reset fees roughly match the discounted purchase price of each configuration.
Which Configuration Should You Pick?
Choose Daily Loss Limit ON or Intraday drawdown if your priority is the lowest purchase price. Choose Daily Loss Limit OFF or EOD drawdown if you want more flexibility and do not mind paying a premium. One thing to know: once you buy, these settings cannot be changed on an active account. To switch, you would purchase a new Lucid Daily account with different options.
How the Evaluation Works
The Lucid Daily evaluation is a simulated account with a profit target you must hit before upgrading to a funded account. It carries a one-time fee with no monthly rebilling, so you can take as long as you need to pass. When you hit the target, activation is real-time, and you are upgraded to a funded account within 5 to 30 minutes with no activation fee.
The Funded Account
Once funded, the account offers daily payout requests, a 90/10 profit split in your favor, and no consistency rule. Every funded account uses an Intraday drawdown regardless of what you chose for the evaluation. There is one hard rule worth memorizing early: news trading is not permitted.
News Trading Is a Hard Breach
Trading red folder news on a Lucid Daily funded account is strictly prohibited and is a hard breach. You must be flat from one minute before through one minute after the news event, and you may not hold or open new positions through that window. Doing so breaches the funded account.
Drawdown: How the Max Loss Limit Moves
The drawdown type dictates how your Max Loss Limit (MLL) is calculated. Intraday brings your MLL up with your real-time P&L, while EOD brings it up based on your balance at the end of a session. In both cases the MLL trails up only to a defined point, then locks. Once your account exceeds the Initial Trail Balance, the MLL locks at your initial balance plus $100 and no longer moves. If your account balance reaches the MLL, the account is breached.
The Daily Loss Limit (If You Keep It On)
If you chose DLL on, a fixed daily loss cap applies to both the evaluation and the funded account. If you chose off, there is no daily cap in either phase. It is all or nothing across both phases. Importantly, all daily loss limits at Lucid are soft breaches: hitting the DLL does not cost you the account, it simply restricts you from placing more trades until the next session, as long as the Max Loss Limit has not been reached. The fixed DLL amounts are $600 on the 25K, $1,200 on the 50K, $1,800 on the 100K, and $2,700 on the 150K, identical in both the evaluation and the funded account.
The Consistency Rule (Evaluation Only)
During the evaluation you need a consistency percentage of 50% or less to be eligible to upgrade. The formula is simple:
For example, on a 50K account, if your largest single day was $750 when you reached the $3,000 target, that is $750 ÷ $3,000 = 25%, comfortably under the 50% limit. There is a small cushion built in so eager traders can technically pass in two days, but the cushion is a percentage of your actual daily profit, not a fixed dollar amount, and taking your time is the better approach. Once you reach live status, the consistency requirement no longer applies.

How Payouts Work
Funded accounts use a 90/10 split and allow daily payout requests. Two things must be true to qualify. First, your profit must be above the buffer balance, which equals your initial Max Loss Limit plus $100 ($26,100 on the 25K, $52,100 on the 50K, $103,100 on the 100K, and $154,600 on the 150K). You cannot take a payout from the buffer. Second, you must have positive net profit, even $1, since your last payout.
The minimum payout request is $500, and the maximum is whatever sim profit you have built above the buffer. There is no fixed payout window, so you can request any day once you meet the criteria. After approval, funds are deducted from your account within a few minutes and disbursed to your payment method within 2 business days.
Lucid Daily also has a Maximum Daily Profit mechanic that differs from their other plans: rather than a strict per-request cap, there is a maximum amount of sim profit you can earn in a day ($6,000 on the 25K up to $12,000 on the 150K). Meet or exceed that daily amount and you are automatically moved live.
Getting Moved to Live
Lucid's risk team decides when a trader moves to live, for example after earning the Maximum Daily Profit, being paid out a significant amount over time, or showing exceptional performance in sim funded. When you move live, the buffer balance funds your starting live drawdown and cannot be withdrawn. Sim profits above the buffer can be paid out after broker KYC, capped at $15,000 total regardless of account size or how many accounts you hold.
Live accounts start at a $0 balance, offer daily payouts, use an End-of-Day drawdown, and have no daily loss limit. Each eligible funded account (with at least one payout) becomes one live account. Note two firm rules at the live stage: if one household member trades live, others cannot trade sim, and hedging live accounts is strictly prohibited by both Lucid and the CME, resulting in a permanent ban. The standard cooldown after blowing a live account is two weeks.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Lucid Daily?
Lucid Daily is a new prop firm plan from Lucid Trading with a one-time-fee evaluation and a funded account that offers daily payout requests, no consistency rule in funded, and a 90/10 profit split. It comes in 25K, 50K, 100K, and 150K sizes and lets you customize two settings at checkout: Daily Loss Limit on or off, and evaluation drawdown as End-of-Day or Intraday.
What are the Lucid Daily account sizes and profit targets?
Lucid Daily offers four sizes. The 25K has a $1,250 profit target and $1,000 max loss limit. The 50K has a $3,000 target and $2,000 max loss. The 100K has a $6,000 target and $3,000 max loss. The 150K has a $9,000 target and $4,500 max loss. Across every size the profit target is 6% of the account, the max loss is 3%, and the daily loss limit when on is 1.8%. Consistency is 50% during the evaluation only.
How much does Lucid Daily cost with code FPF?
Code FPF gives you 30% off all accounts. The 25K starts at $70 for the cheapest configuration, the 50K at $95.20, the 100K at $160.30, and the 150K at $225.40. The most flexible configuration of each size costs more, up to $320.20 on the 150K. The exact price depends on the size and the two settings you choose.
Why does the Lucid Daily price change at checkout?
The price depends on the two settings you choose. Turning the Daily Loss Limit off raises the price, and choosing End-of-Day drawdown for the evaluation raises it further. The cheapest configuration is Intraday drawdown with the Daily Loss Limit on, and the most expensive is End-of-Day drawdown with no Daily Loss Limit.
What is the difference between EOD and Intraday drawdown on Lucid Daily?
Intraday drawdown is monitored continuously and includes unrealized profits and losses, while End-of-Day drawdown is calculated from your balance at the end of each session and ignores unrealized P&L. This choice only affects the evaluation. All Lucid Daily funded accounts always use Intraday drawdown.
Does hitting the Daily Loss Limit fail my Lucid Daily account?
No. The Daily Loss Limit is a soft breach at Lucid Trading. If you hit it you are simply locked out until the next trading session and do not lose the account, as long as the Max Loss Limit has not been reached.
Is there a consistency rule on Lucid Daily?
There is a 50% consistency requirement during the evaluation only, calculated as your largest single day profit divided by your total account profit. Lucid Daily funded accounts and live accounts have no consistency rule.
How do Lucid Daily payouts work?
Funded accounts use a 90/10 split in the trader's favor and allow daily payout requests. To qualify, your profit must be above the buffer balance (initial max loss limit plus $100) and you must have positive net profit since your last payout. The minimum payout is $500, and approved payouts are disbursed to your payment method within 2 business days.
Can you trade news on a Lucid Daily funded account?
No. Trading red folder news on a Lucid Daily funded account is a hard breach. You must be flat from one minute before through one minute after the news event and may not hold or open positions in that window.
