Two Risk Models: Max Position Loss vs Daily Loss Limit
On the Core and Instant programs, you choose a risk model at checkout. They limit your losses in different ways, and each handles breaches differently. A soft breach is forgiven (a warning); a hard breach closes your account.
Max Position Loss
The maximum loss allowed on a single open position. 2 soft breaches are forgiven - the 3rd is a hard breach.
Daily Loss Limit
The maximum you may lose within one trading day. 1 soft breach is forgiven - the 2nd is a hard breach.
