Applies to both account types:
· Min payout: $500 per request  ·  50% consistency rule in PA phase
· Safety Net = Drawdown limit + $100, stays for lifetime of the PA
· You may continue trading immediately after submitting a payout request
· After 6 payouts, the PA closes — a new evaluation must be passed
Drawdown Types Explained

The EOD Threshold is recalculated once per day at 4:59:59 PM ET. It always trails the highest EOD closing balance and never moves down. Once set, it is enforced in real time during the following session.

50K EOD Example — $2,000 max drawdown
Start → $50,000Threshold: $48,000
Day 1 close → $50,800Threshold: $48,800 ↑
Day 2 close → $51,600Threshold: $49,600 ↑
Day 3 close → $50,900 (loss day)Threshold: $49,600 → unchanged
Day 4 close → $52,000 (new high)Threshold: $50,000 ↑
In PAs: EOD Threshold stops trailing once it reaches Starting Balance + $100. For 50K PA: locks at $50,100 when EOD balance closes at $52,100.
On Rithmic & WealthCharts evals: trailing stops when threshold = Profit Target Balance. On Tradovate evals: trails indefinitely.

The Intraday Trailing Threshold adjusts in real time throughout the session. It follows the account's Peak Balance — including both realized and unrealized gains. It never moves downward.

If an open trade pushes your account to a new high, the threshold moves up immediately — even before the position is closed. This is the key difference from EOD drawdown.
In PAs: trailing stops once threshold reaches Starting Balance + $100. For 50K PA: threshold locks at $50,100.
Rithmic & WealthCharts evals: trailing stops when threshold = Profit Target Balance + $2,000. Tradovate: trails indefinitely.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Apex Performance Account a live funded account?+
No. The Performance Account is a Simulated Funded (Sim Funded) account. It uses real market data and enforces real rules, but the capital is simulated.
How many Performance Accounts can I hold at once?+
You may hold up to 20 PAs active at the same time. This cap applies across all PA types and sizes combined — EOD, Intraday, and Legacy.
Can I pass the evaluation in one day?+
Yes. There is no minimum number of trading days required. As soon as the profit target is reached and no rules have been violated, the evaluation is passed. You then have 7 calendar days to activate your PA.
What is the Safety Net?+
The Safety Net equals your account's drawdown limit + $100. Your balance must stay above this level to remain eligible for payouts. It stays in place for the lifetime of the PA and does not disappear after your first payout.
What is the 50% consistency rule?+
No single profitable trading day may represent 50% or more of your total profit since your last approved payout. If exceeded, the payout request option will not appear. The account stays active — you may continue trading until the percentage drops below 50%.
Does hitting the Daily Loss Limit close my PA?+
No. Hitting the DLL pauses trading for the remainder of the session only. The account remains active and resets at the next session open. Only breaching the drawdown threshold closes the PA permanently.
What happens after 6 payouts?+
After 6 approved payouts, the Performance Account completes its payout cycle and closes. You can obtain a new PA by passing a new evaluation.
Can I trade after submitting a payout request?+
Yes. You may continue trading immediately. However, trade as if the requested amount has already been removed from your balance — if your balance drops below the required threshold after submitting, the payout will be denied automatically.
What is the difference between EOD and Intraday Trailing drawdown?+
The EOD Drawdown is calculated once at market close and enforced during the next session — your intraday balance can fluctuate freely as long as you don't touch the threshold. The Intraday Trailing Drawdown tracks your highest balance in real time including unrealized PnL — the moment a new peak is reached on any open trade, the threshold moves up immediately.
What is the inactivity rule?+
If you do not record at least one trading day with $150+ net profit within 150 consecutive calendar days, the Performance Account will be closed.
